  1. Question 1: 
  2. This program will create the document indicated.  Please be sure 
  3. that this is what you want to write before starting.  You can 
  4. return to the main menu and select another module by pressing the 
  5. "escape" (Esc) key. 
  6. A Bill of Sale, as you have selected, is used to document the
  7. transfer of personal property from one person or company to
  8. another.  It is much like the document used to show that a car is
  9. sold, or something similar.
  10. Question 2: 
  11. Please enter the person's full name.  This can be a company or an 
  12. individual. 
  13. Question 3: 
  14. It is important to put the entire street address of the person in
  15. the agreement.  This can be a normal address such as "321 15th 
  16. Street." 
  17. Question 4: 
  18. The city or town where the signer of this agreement lives in 
  19. needs to be specified.  If you are going to execute the agreement 
  20. in a rural area (not in a city or town) then use the name of the 
  21. closest city or town. 
  22. Question 5: 
  23. The state, territory or jurisdiction needs to be specified. 
  24. Question 6: 
  25. Please enter the person's full name.  This can be a company or an 
  26. individual. 
  27. Question 7: 
  28. Please enter the address of the person who is receiving the 
  29. property.  Here, you need only put the street address, such as 
  30. "529 Pierson Rd." 
  31. Question 8: 
  32. The city or town where the person receiving the property lives 
  33. needs to be specified.  If you are going to execute the agreement 
  34. in a rural area (not in a city or town) then use the name of the 
  35. closest city or town. 
  36. Question 9: 
  37. The state, territory or jurisdiction needs to be specified. 
  38. Question 10: 
  39. List the property that is to be sold pursuant to this Bill of 
  40. Sale.  This can be a specific piece of property, or a large group 
  41. of items, such as "the assets of the business known as 
  42. Futurcomp". 
  43. Question 11: 
  44. You can either put the price of the sale in the document or you 
  45. can specify that the goods are sold for $1.00 and other just and 
  46. valuable consideration.  If you are going to specify the amount 
  47. then answer "yes" to this question. 
  48. Question 12: 
  49. Here, enter the amount of the sale. You needn't put a "$" sign 
  50. because it will automatically appear in the document. 
  51. Question 13: 
  52. Most of the time the property will be transferred free and clear. 
  53. However, occasionally there is a lien or encumbrance on the 
  54. property that needs to be disclosed in this document. 
  55. Question 14: 
  56. If there is an encumbrance or lien, it needs to be carefully 
  57. defined in the document. 
  58. Question 15: 
  59. You can have the agreement notarized.  This is necessary if the 
  60. agreement is going to be recorded. 
  61. Question 16: 
  62. If the agreement is to be notarized, the county or parish needs 
  63. to be specified if you live in one.

  65. If the agreement is to be notarized, the county or parish needs 
  66. to be specified if you live in one. 
  67. Question 18: 
  68. The questions are now complete.  You can go back to any question 
  69. if you wish by pressing "escape", or you can continue with the 
  70. program.  Now that the questions are completed, the program will 
  71. allow you to preview the document, write it to a disk file for 
  72. editing further or print it.  Note that it will be automatically 
  73. saved so you can review or print it later.
